Trophy Life is an enjoyable story, one where you have to wonder if getting that ideal life is truly worth the price.
Told in Amy’s present and her past we get a good look at what her life is now and how she came to this point. Some readers don’t like time jumping, but in this story it works well for without knowing both “Amys” and how they’ll meld together… you wouldn’t have the same impact or the same story.
There are certainly villains, even if disguised as society’s upper crust, and there are those who simply are what their upbringing has made them. When her world becomes stifling, Amy has the chance to reconnect with a man she once loved – and to get a perspective on what she wants now.
I enjoyed my time spent in this world and believe any Romance reader who enjoys Chick-Lit or Contemporary Romance will find this one to their liking.
